I have a genuine passion for supporting healing, personal growth, self-discovery and recovery from within. At the heart of my work is the professional warm relationship I build with my clients - a relationship of mutual trust, and safety based on a strong sense of compassion.

I aim to provide a compassion focused trauma informed therapeutic approach,  which seeks to understand and respond to the impact of trauma on people’s lives. This approach emphasises physical, psychological, and emotional safety, supporting individuals to re-establish control in their lives, reestablishing safety and connection. I continue to expand my knowledge in the study of trauma, keeping up to date with trauma recovery research and various healing modalities.  

I am a published writer, writing regular mental health blogs and articles for local and national publications, such as Mindsum.org, Belfast Live  Psychology Net, and RSVP Magazine.  Recently releasing my first published Self Development book - "A Stripper Called Bambi" A Therapists guide to shedding social expectations and living authentically, which is currently No.3 in Amazons bestseller in its category.

My studies and interest in how trauma impacts the body also lead me to found Newtownabbey's first infrared sauna studio - Elements Wellness Studio.  Due to my work in the community I recognised the further need for holistic therapies, aiming to work with both mind and body.  Elements Wellness offers heat, light and salt therapy, offering a unique approach to holistic healing and wellness winning most innovative business award in wellbeing 2022.

I am currently studying a 4 year post clinical training program in  Somatic Experiencing, under clinicians trained by Dr Peter Levine, the primary goal of SE is to modify trauma-related stress response in the body.
